Luciana was a Dean's Scholar while at New York University and graduated New York University with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. While at New York University she was also a Foreign Area La
Luciana is a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (Spanish/English) with over 15 years of experience working with adults and children. Luciana was a Dean's Scholar while at New York University and graduated New York University with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. While at New York University she was also a Foreign Area Language Scholar and traveled to Costa Rica in 2001 to study at the Hospital Nacional de Niño’s in San Jose, Costa Rica. Luciana also completed additional course work in Bilingual Speech Language Pathology under the direction of Dr. Cate Crowley from Teacher's College of Columbia University. She is passion about using client centered approaches to help both adults and children. She has worked in the area of stuttering, autism, traumatic brain injury, articulation disorders, as well as expressive and receptive language disorders. Luciana has worked in the area of accent coaching and accent improvement. Luciana is also an avid runner. She completed the NYC Marathon in 2019 and the Disney Marathon in 2023 while raising money for children born with Muscular Dystrophy.

Services for Children and Young Adults
We offer a range of services such as articulation therapy, language therapy, and social communication therapy. We work with children that need help with being fluent speakers and readers. We also provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers.
Services for Adults
We provide coaching and rehabilitation services for adults with communication difficulties related to stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, and other conditions. We also offer accent modification and public speaking services.

We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help our clients better understand our services and what to expect during therapy.
What is an Evaluation?
An evaluation seeks to understand your individual needs and will vary from person to person. Evaluations are generally scheduled for 1-1.5 hours. During the evaluation Luciana will interview the client and/or caregivers, conduct formal assessments, and do informal observations during play, reading, and spontaneous conversation. Feel free to ask questions during the evaluation. Following the evaluation a summary of the findings and recommendations will be discussed with you. We are able to conduct evaluations via teletherapy. How often are sessions held ?
Sessions are typically scheduled once or twice a week for either 30 or 60 minute sessions. The frequency may decrease as goals are met and the need for weekly sessions are no longer needed. We are flexible and will try to accommodate different scheduling needs and individual goals
